We are ESN Buddynetwork TU Wien, a part of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN)—the largest student association in Europe. As a non-profit organization run entirely by students, our mission is to make the time of exchange students at TU Wien unforgettable.
Every semester, around 300 exchange students arrive at TU Wien. In close cooperation with the International Office, we personally welcome each new arrival and support them in settling into university life and exploring Vienna. In those first crucial weeks, we help students navigate TU Wien, build a strong Erasmus community, and foster intercultural exchange through our buddy system, connecting them with local students. Our goal? To give every student the best possible start to an amazing semester!
But that’s just the beginning. Throughout the semester, we organize a wide range of events and trips:

- 🏔️ Weekend getaways to Austria’s breathtaking nature and nearby international cities
- ⛷️ Legendary sking trip
- 🎬 Cozy movie nights & game evenings
- 💃 Dance courses for Vienna’s famous balls
As some of us are former Erasmus students as well, we know firsthand what this experience is all about. Now, we’re here to support, celebrate, and share that unique Erasmus feeling right here in Vienna!
